Born 25 March 1958. Started sculpting on his 40th birthday. Degree in Physical Education from The University of Pretoria.
Provincial colours in 4 sports, including a boxing champion. Married for 25 years and 2 children.

In only 10 years Harry has produced more sculptures than any other South African Sculptor in a lifetime…more than 1000.
There are 40 000 of his sculptures in gardens all over the world. At one point 5 factories were producing his work.

Most artists need to be validated or explained. Harry's work speaks for itself and he has become the most sought after sculptor especially when a client needs something that looks like the thing they wanted and done in time. He has already completed 3 National Monuments and is the official sculptor of the South African Sports Hall of Fame.

Harry is the only major sculptor in SA history not to go the gallery route, just as most world famous sculptors have done before. Harry's work sells for record prices and is collected by the well informed and people confident enough to know what they want. His work is not available in any Gallery. Harry has helped many young sculptors to develop their own careers and guide them through the minefield of the so-called art world.
